100% Mexican company with origins in the city of León, Guajanuato, was established in 1912 by
"Don Felix Vilches Zuñiga", dedicated from its inception to the development of hand tools including: hammers, tweezers and pliers for shoemaker, knives and blades for different uses, all of VILMA products made by hand, relying solely on a forge (furnace heat produced by coal, and an air blower to provide the required temperature), mallets and anvils to give by "forging" the desired figure, all these products are those that in those years as requested and required tools of business and individuals engaged in manufacturing of footwear and leather tanning.

In 1940 died the founder of this company,
"Don Felix Zuñiga Vilches", leaving the company at the forefront of their children,"Donato and Alberto Vilches Rios" and it was the latter who, in 1970, encouraging the implementation of modern processes production that allowed the company to position itself in the market and compete with professional excellence.
